I'm a mentor by nature. I find art in programming and will talk about it to whoever will listen. I am curious about how things work and actively fear technology I don't understand.

I believe in a PQ/PA (Precision Questions and Precision Answers) approach to learning where the pace of study is driven by the student and not the teacher. I prefer to understand alien concepts by asking an exhaustive list of questions instead of reading a blurb of text. To me, the biggest deterrent for learning is the pace of knowledge transfer, be it too fast or too slow. A PQ/PA learning style helps me march forward at the pace I am comfortable with and avoid all the extra noise which make books as thick as they are.
